Well, lets see… I went to Youth Group last night, ran Sound and put together the PowerPoint presentation. Things are going great in my life right now! I called my consulting company tonight, and found out that I am going to get the job! I start tomorrow, and will be trained for the next two weeks in advanced printer repair. I am so glad I finally got my first job.

I will be busy for the next few weeks. After work on Friday, I have to get a lot of my work done for school, and stay ahead so I can work next week. Also, I am starting to work for Crossroads in the tech department, so things are getting pretty busy around here.

Well, all… I am going to go, I have some stuff to get finished tonight.

Wonderful news! I got a call on the way home from church tonight. It was a consulting company I had worked for in the past. They have a three month conract with Xerox available in Columbus, and they want me to take it. I hopefully will be starting Monday. I am so excited.

Anyways, other than that, there isn’t much going on. I am working on the SYA site, and that is about it.

Life is going great at the moment. I spent today at the church; it was easier than me driving clear home and going clear back. Tonight we had a dramatic drama called “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames”. That went really well. After church I hung out with my friends, and we watched “Maid in < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Manhattan“. Then I headed home and now, I am sitting here watching TV.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Interestingly enough when I got home tonight, someone from my former church left me a really nice message that said, “**** your church and your info”. I have to say that since I changed churches, things haven’t gone the best. For those of you who didn’t know, yes I drive to Circleville every Sunday morning, night, and Wednesday evening. I attend Crossroads Church (A Member of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union). Things are going well; I am making friends and fitting in.

Well, I am off. I have to get up tomorrow and do some video editing, school work, and then go give a video to my friend after she gets off of work.

Wow… we live in a smaller world than I thought. Three people I used to go to school with, now got to ECOT. Unfortunately, we cannot do student-student e-mail so I am attempting to get a hold of them. If anyone would happen to know a way I could get a hold of Carl Schultz, David Ludolph or Jonathan Marsh then contact me ASAP.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Hopefully one of them will graduate early, that way I would know one other person at my graduation. So anyways, nothing much has been going on. I went to church, been doing school, going to church Wednesday, which is about it.

I am bored; maybe I will go get lost at the mall or something, who knows. Anyways, I will try and write later.

Yet another exciting year at ECOT. For those of you who don’t know me all that well, that would be Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow. Yeah, I go to school online, does that surprise you at all? Anyways, we are experiencing a few “issues” with the new servers they’re using this year, so I have some downtime.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Nothing exciting is really going on. I just got up at < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />8:00, at breakfast, and now I am sitting here. I guess I won’t have to do any work today. Let’s see, I am going to Youth Group tonight. We are doing something different so we won’t get out ’till late.

Yeah, I know… I live such an exciting life. Anyways, I am going to take off and try and see if I can start working yet, if not, I am going to take off and go to Sams Club.

Saturday August 30, 2003

Well, nothing much has been going on. My life is real exciting, I know. Anyways, some new things are started at church, and I am going to be involved in them, so I am pretty excited about it. I might be going to Circleville tomorrow to help someone move across town. That is about it going on for Labor Day Weekened.

Well, I think I finally made a decision on a college. I think I am going to attend Ohio State University and get a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science.

I logged in today to find out that my schedule for this year at ECOT will be either 2 classes SM1 and 6 classes SM2 or 3 Classes SM1 and 5 Classes SM2. Either way it should be an easy year.

Well, that is about it folks. I am off to do some more work tonight, then I am going to hit the bed. Talk to you all later.

Tuesday August 26, 2003

Wow, so I have been on Xanga now for 149 days. A lot has happened in those 149 days. Anyways, today was actually, boring. Oh, yeah, I did edit the SYA Promotional Video. I have to find some good clips to put in there. The video should be finished by tomorrow evening. Then I have to start working on the SYA website. Things have been stacking up, so I have to work this week to get things done before school starts. I also have to take my Nextel phone to Washington Courthouse to get it replaced.

Church went well. I was sort of nervous changing churches, but I am beginning to fit in and make friends. Sunday night the technical director and I had a long talk, and it looks like I am going to be working a lot. I’ve always felt at home working in the church. When I changed I had no real intentions of working here, but I am more than happy to help out. I really enjoyed the services, but I don’t think I am going to make it to church on Wednesday; it just depends on what is going on.

Something really funny happened the other day. I took my one car (1993 Plymouth Laser RS) in to get its oil changed at Jiffy Lube. I was waiting for the service tech to come out and go over the engine with me. Well, always in the past I have been addressed by Mr. Massie, and that is their typical procedure. Well, someone came out and said “John?” I turned around and it was my friend Joel B. from Tree of Life (my old school). Small world… It is so funny that I can live in a city of a million people, and no matter where I go, I always run into someone I know.

Well, I better get to bed. I have a long list of things to do tomorrow. Drop me an e-mail or give me a call or LEAVE A COMMENT! Anyways, I am going to get off of here.

Friday August 22, 2003

Sorry guys, I have written since I got back from camp on the 17th. Well, nothing much really has been going on. Some things happened at camp that weren’t so great, but I trust that God will deal with them. Life has been busy though with other things in my life.

This month I had to make a very hard decision in my life. I decided to change churches and leave Grace Ministries. I have been praying about this for a long time, and I feel this is what God wants me to do. I fought about it for a long time, and finally I gave it to God, and I believe this is His will for my life. I am beginning to make more friends at the new church, and things are looking up.

Well, that is about all that is going on in my life. Oh yeah, school starts in two weeks, hard to believe that in less than a year, I will be graduating. I thought I would never make it to my Senior year, but I did. I better go, my friend is on the phone and she is talking to me.
