Today, was a great day. I managed to close out 10+ calls (at the level I am at, closing five or more in a day is extremely good). So I was extremely pleased about that. I also have been working on a volunteer project for a church. I am pretty excited… you know me, technology is like “play time” to me.

For all of the “new” readers. I am doing very well! I work full time for Ashland Inc. (We own Valvoline and a few other companies) in the PC Service Group. My official title is Distributed Computing Tier 3 Technician. I deal with a bunch of techie stuff all day. Fun job!

I go to Columbus State Community College: Dublin. I am working on transferring next year to OSU to major in Computer Science (I think that degree was a given).

Outside of work and school… I currently attend New Horizons Community Church in Blacklick. I am still driving around my 2002 Grand Am GT (except it has a broken window on it, everyone must see my duct tape job ). I go jogging and/or running in my free time or hang out at the park and play Frisbee if I can get enough people together.

That’s about it. A mini-catchup if you will of what is going on right now. So thanks for all the many many comments! Keep them coming! It’s nice to know someone actually reads what I write.

P.S. – If you haven’t talked to me in a while, I’ve acquired the nick-name of John Boy. Go figure, I am not even a Waltons fan. If you don’t get it… then that just shows I think way too old.

So far… here are my college grades:
English – 100%
Math – 100%
Freshman Seminar – 100%

…and they said you couldn’t get a 4.0 GPA in College…

College is freakin awesome. Math is way too easy. English, everyone is friendly and extremely cool. My teachers rock. I am totally loving CSCC: Dublin. So, work… whole other story. I just pray and hope that tomorrow is a better day.

I never thought I would say this, but… school was the most enjoyable part of my day. I got to chat with some dudes in Math before it started and then we had to do a little group thing in English and I got to work with a cool girl named Brooke. We sat and chatted after we finished, and she is a really awesome person.

Well, that’s that folks. I am going to go to bed now.

I received a call this afternoon from Mrs. VanAtta. It seems that Hope’s bite that she got yesterday at work has gotten worse and they have admitted her to St. Ann’s Hospital. I am going over this evening to spend some time with her and cheer her up and what not. If anyone is interested in coming, my cell phone number is 614.406.4472. Call me and I can give you the room number and such or pass a message onto her. If you get my voice mail, just leave a message… I will either relay it to her or call you back with an answer.

College has officially begun. Dublin CSCC Rocks. I don’t have to deal with:
A. Parking Problems
B. Downtown
C. Traffic
D. Multiple Buildings
E. Large Classes
and the list goes on and on…

It is also right across the freeway in Dublin so I have like a five minute drive after work to get to school.

My Math teacher is a Christian, which is equally rocks. He’s really nice and very easy going. He’s very helpful and makes sure you understand everything.

My English teacher is awesome. She’s really cool and wants to make sure that you get a good grade by helping you as much as she can. I am pretty excited to start working with her. My English class students are a little more lively and interesting than my Math class… Good things since we’re going to be doing a bunch of group work in English.

Well, that’s about it. I am going to jet…

Got the haircut. Maybe I will update my profile picture with the new haircut. OSU Game is today! I think I will watch it while I clean my room. I have to get all my crap organized before college starts on Wednesday.

Phew… the week is finally done. I’ve been so busy. We’ve implemented Wireless Technology at Ashland… let’s just say, it’s been busy. So, if anyone is needing assistance with Wireless Technology for Networks (Including PEAP Protocol) hollar at me… for I am quickly becoming the expert.

Other than that, not much. I start classes this week on Wednesday. I am pretty excited. Then I also have some stuff around the house to do this weekend. I doubt I do much outside of the house. I have so much here to do… I do have to get my hair cut, I am quite the shaggy dog. So I better get off here and dive into doing crap around the house.
